Observatoriet
The observatory is located outside Kristianstad. The view towards south and west offers good opportunities to observe planets, clusters, galaxies and more.
The Observatory.
Our association has a close cooperation with Kristianstad University. We have full access to their observatory and we are also involved in public outreach.
At the observatory, there are two Schmidt/Cassegrain telescopes; a 12" and an 8". Besides visual observations, they can be used for DSLR photography or CCD photography. Eventually direct projection on the wall inside the observatory may be possible. Outside the observatory there are three piers on which telescopes can be attached.
There is a dome on top of the observatory where we one of the telescopes my eventually be installed.
Work
At several occasions the members of the asociation have been working at the observatory and sometimes their work has been documented. The following pages have lots of images but no translation.
